Parents need to take responsibilty.

Family Guy, South Park, Simpsons, Futurama, American Dad, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force are some of America’s favorite animated television shows. But they are also some of the most controversial shows to be aired over television. These shows bring out the most angered mothers who always seem to have a stick up their ###. These parents like to blame everything but themselves for their child’s misbehavior and crude language. Aside from notoriously violent video games like Grand Theft Auto 4 and Call of Duty, these animated television shows get a good amount of heat from these women and groups like the FCC as well as the people in the world who can’t laugh at themselves or are too stupid and stubborn to just NOT WATCH IT.

All of these shows are most definetely aware of these groups against their comedy. Some of them will even lash out at the audience. For example, the movie South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut used that as a central theme. Mothers lashing out against “crude language and potty humor” because of a movie their boys (Stan, Kyle, Eric & Kenny) have watched, they mimmicked the crude language displayed in the movie. In the end the mothers realized they should have payed more attention to their sons instead of blaming someone else.

Family Guy pokes fun at his a lot as well. In a few episodes Peter Griffin Talks directly to the audience and lashes back. For example, in EpisodeBoys Do Cry,” Lois says, “values don’t come from where you live or who your friends are. They come from inside, from your own beliefs.” Peter then says to the audience: “I agree, Lois. Like, for instance, if you’re watching a TV show and you decide to take your values from that, you’re an idiot. Maybe you should take responsibility for what values your kids are getting.
Maybe you shouldn’t be letting your kids watch certain shows in the first place if you have such a big problem with them, instead of blaming the shows themselves. Yeah
” If you don’t like the show, you should simply not watch it. Family Guy is trying to say the parents should play a larger role in their childrens’ life and should take control of what they watch on TV.

I am going to end on this note. Here are a few very controversial and offensive clips. If you can’t laugh at yourself or you just get offended easily, DO NOT WATCH THESE HILARIOUS CLIPS. due to copyright laws, these videos will not be of best quality.

This captured hundreds of stereotypes alone…it’s ok, laugh at yourself
